SC Focus - Women and the Sacred. Dr. Bob Becker, Director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs, talks with Dr. Diana Hayes, author of Hagar’s Daughters: Womanist Ways of Being in the World. Dr. Hayes will present a public lecture entitled Faith of our Mothers: Womanist God Talk at 7:00pm on Thursday, September 30, at the Strom Thurmond Institute as part of the Clemson University lecture series on Faith and Public Discourse. A discussion of her book takes place at the Hendrix Center Conference Room at 7:00 this Thursday, September 23.
