SC Focus - The Terrorist Threat. Dr. Bob Becker, Director of the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs, talks with Jay Hetherington, former CIA specialist in security and a visiting lecturer in the Clemson University Department of Political Science.

The Arts, I - Upstate writer Joel McCollough, one of the winners of the 2004 Piccolo Fiction Open reads his short, short story “Rings.”

The Arts, II - Fiddle Traditions. Bob McAnally talks with musician, storyteller, and tune collector John Fowler about this cd sampler of Upstate South Carolina master folk fiddlers. We enjoy selections featuring fiddlers Nick Hallman, J.C. Owens, T.C. Foster, and Ted Brackett. Fiddle Traditions was produced by Hairy Toe Productions and funded in part by the SC Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. On Saturday, September 18, the Upcountry Folklife Festival and Old Time Fiddling Convention takes place on the grounds of Hagood Mill in Pickens.
