Listening to the Live Webstream
To listen to our live webstream on a PC you will need the latest version of Windows Media Player which you can download from Microsoft's web site.
To listen on a Mac, you'll need to download and install the free Flip4Mac plugin for Quicktime. Restart your computer after installation is complete. Upon clicking on the live webstream link, the Quicktime player will launch or you may get a new browser window with playback controls at the bottom. You will need to manually click the Play button in either of these to begin listening to the live stream.
Listening to an Archived Program
To listen to an archived program, click on the webstream link. You'll be taken to a page with a separate audio player. The player will contain a playlist with all of the programs for that month. After clicking on the player, the most recent show will begin playing. You may then select another show from the playlist on the right.
Downloading an Archived Program
Each program has a link for downloading an MP3 file of an archived program. The downloadable program may be used to make a CD of the program for that day. To download a program, right click on the Download link for the desired program. Select Save Target as or Save link as. Select a destination for the file. Once the download completes, you may listen to the program directly from your computer or create a CD of the program using most CD authoring programs.
Podcasting Your Day
Your Day is now available in a portable version. The podcast is a downloadable version of our daily radio program which is optimized for listening with Apple's iTunes and the Apple iPod. Please note that the Apple iPod or iTunes are not required to take advantage of this new format. To listen to the Your Day podcast using iTunes, you will first need to acquire iTunes. You may download iTunes free at: www.mac.com.
After downloading and
installing iTunes, you must subscribe to Your Day podcast. Clicking on the Your Day Podcast button on the home page will guide you through the automated subscription process.
To subscribe manually:
1. Launch iTunes
2. Select "Subscribe to Podcast" from the "Advanced" pull-down menu
3. Enter the following URL into the Subscribe box: http://feeds.feedburner.com/YourDay.
After subscribing, iTunes will begin downloading the most recent Your Day podcast.
