Dr. Bob Becker, Director of Economic Policy and Strategy with the Strom Thurmond Institute on Government and Public Affairs at Clemson University, learns about the academic study of the racial identity of whites when he speaks with Dr. David Roediger, Babcock Professor of History and African American Studies at the University of Illinois.

Educational Opportunities at Congaree National Park (Listen to the segment)
We'll return to Congaree National Park with Climate Change Fellow Maria Valencia and learn about the educational opportunities available in the park when she speaks with rangers David Shelley and Theresa Thom.  Maria Valencia visited South Carolina as participants in the Climate Change Fellows Program, funded by the US Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and implemented by Partners of the Americas.

Bugs of the Night
Charlotte Holt and bug guys Dr. Eric Benson, Clemson Extension Urban Entomologist in the Department of Entomology, Soils, and Plant Sciences, and Cam Lay, Montana State Entomologist go on a night time safari in search of the bugs of the night.  Night is half of the day in the insect world and we'll discover which insects become active after the sun sets as the bug team visits various types of habitats.   Additional insect information is available at the Clemson Entomology website.

Deer hunting season in South Carolina
